Mar. 21st, 2026 11:09 amRecently, I saw a deer on a hill somewhere near Peoria. I came back a week later and the deer was gone. As in, it was dead. But that’s not the weird part: It was that half of it was completely missing. It was either hit by a car and a predator dragged half of its corpse away, or the deer was directly killed by said predator. Either way, it was in the middle of winter when very few animals at all would reasonably be outside. Or, early spring? Eh.
It’s not really my concern at all.
